Step by step setup (7 steps)

• Start ByteWedge and choose File->New from the menu.
• On the "Import Source" tab in the Setup Wizard choose "COM port".

  

• On the "Export Method" tab select "DDE Public Data".

  

• On the "Parser" tab set filters and parser options.

  

  

• On the "Import Options" tab choose the communication parameters for your serial device

  

• Next go to the "Export Options" tab where you will see the settings used to connect to ByteWedge from another application that supports DDE.

  

• Press the "Done" button and press "Start" button then watch your serial data "pop" into your application.
