| Exporting rs232 data to Excel, using OLE technology |

You can export in real-time rs232 data into Excel. This way you can analyze real-time data from your device, create charts, build reports, etc.
Step by step setup (7 steps)
- Start ByteWedge and choose File->New from the menu.
- On the "Import Source" tab in the Setup Wizard choose "COM port".

- On the "Export Method" tab select "Send Strings to Excel".

- On the "Parser" tab set filters and parser options.


- On the "Import Options" tab choose the communication parameters for your serial device

- Next click the "Export Options" tab and choose a file where your data will be stored.

- Press the "Done" button and press "Start" button then watch your serial data "pop" into your Excel file.

Then, the moment the data from the selected source arrive, Excel will open and the recorded data will be shown
