You can export in real-time TCP/IP data into Excel. This way you can analyze real-time data from your equipment which has TCP/IP address (Cisco routers, etc.), create charts, build reports, etc.

Step by step setup (7 steps)

• Start ByteWedge and choose File->New from the menu.
• On the "Import Source" tab in the Wizard choose "TCP/IP".

  

• On the "Export Method" tab select "Send Strings to Excel".

  

• On the "Parser" tab set filters and parser options.

  

  

• On the "Import Options" tab select "Client" or "Server" mode. Then set the TCP/IP parameters your equipment which has TCP/IP address (Cisco routers, etc.).

  

• Next click the "Export Options" tab and choose a file where your data will be stored.

  

• Finally press "Done" and press "Start" button.

  

  Then, the moment the data from the selected source arrive, Excel will open and the recorded data will be shown
